Brown Sugar Bacon
If you are serving plain bacon at your fete, we recommend using cherrywood or applewood smoked bacon. If you only have plain bacon available, this sticky sweet version will be a delightful surprise for your guests.
1 lb bacon (thick cut preferred)
1/4 cup brown sugar
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place baking rack (cooling racks work well) on top of cookie sheet. Arrange the bacon on the rack so that it is in a single layer and doesn't overlap. Sprinkle brown sugar on bacon. Bake for about 15 minutes until cooked and crispy.
