Ingredients:

Filling:

1 container of crescent dough sheet

1 bunch of Asparagus stalks (~32)

1 8 oz. cream cheese

1/2 round of Boursin Garlic/Herb Cheese

1/2 lb. cooked bacon, chopped

6 chives

Directions:

Roll out the crescent dough and using a rolling pin, flatten out the dough until approximately 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick.

Cut off the ends of the asparagus and wash thoroughly.  Thin asparagus if thick.  Set aside and let dry.

Combine softened cream cheese, Boursin cheese, chopped bacon, and chives.  Spread evenly on the crescent dough leaving 1/2 inches of uncovered crescent dough on the edges.

With a pizza rolling cutter, slice the dough into 1/2 inch slices.  Start rolling one stalk of asparagus about 1/2 inch from the bottom of the stalk. and twist the asparagus around so the crescent roll begins to wrap up the asparagus stalk.  Seal the upper end by molding it around the top of the asparagus.  Place the wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet. Continue this process until all asparagus stalks are covered.

Heat the oven to 350 degrees.  Place the baking sheet with the wrapped asparagus into the pre-heated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent dough is lightly golden brown.  Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
