Guacomole is best made as your guests are arriving, so that it doesn't brown. You can get your guests involved in its preparation to help them feel like part of the party.
Total Time: 5 minutes
Add a dish that compliments your menu:
4 ripe avocados
1 t. kosher salt
splash of milk (if the avocado mixture is too thick)
1/4 cup prepared pico de gallo, if available
Mashed peeled and seeded avocados with a large fork or potato masher. Add salt. If desired, add milk. If you have pico de gallo made, add some to the guacomole. Serve immediately.
