Berry and Mascarpone Bruschetta

This bruschetta is on the sweeter side, but it

balances savory bruschettas masterfully. The combination of flavors will have guests coming

back for more.

Ingredients: 

Directions:

Baguette or Italian bread loaf

Spiced Cherry or other berry preserves found in specialty cheese section of your grocery or cheese store.  

 

Marscapone Cheese (6-8 oz container)

​

Strawberries, raspberries (or other favorite berries)

​

Wildflower or other favorite honey, optional

Bread can be toasted or not, depending on personal preference.

Toasted Crostini Bread Pieces:

   

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Slice baguette in 1/4 inch slices.  Brush olive oil on each baguette slice to cover both cut sides.  Lightly salt baguette slices.  Toast in oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly toasted. 

​

Spread layer of marscapone on bread.  Spread a layer of perserves on top of the marscapone.  Add berries.  Drizzle with honey, if desired.
