4 ripe or barely ripe pears

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup apple juice
​
3 T. Butter
​
1 t. cinnamon
​
salt
​
1 pint of vanilla ice cream
\
1 container chocolate dessert sauce
​
1 container caramel dessert sauce

& Chocolate/Caramel

This dish is a fancier version of the classic brownie sundae. It is easily adaptable to guest preferences.

Total Prep Time: 40 minutes

Directions:
Cut pears in half and core pears. Place in a 13 X 9 inch baking sheet.

Stir juice and sugar on the stove over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Add butter and stir until melted. Add cinnamon and salt.
​
Bake in oven preheated to 400 degrees for 35 minutes or until pears are soft. Every 10 minutes during baking, spoon juices on top of the pears.
​
Place pears in dishes. Top with ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauces.
