Spinach Artichoke Dip

Starting with this creamy and savory appetizer is the winning way to get any party or game night on track.  Add more or less spinach depending on preference and serve this dip while it is hot.

1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese -   softened

1/4 cup mayonnaise

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts,   drained and chopped

1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach,   thawed and drained

1/2 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic - minced

2 T. fresh basil - diced

1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

salt and pepper 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients together in a medium bowl.

Lightly grease a small baking dish.  Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and lightly brown.
